Italians are very lazy - they need to work harder. I think they are the laziest of all Europeans. I was quite surprised to see that whole of August is holiday in Italy. Also, there is too much crime in Italy. Getting pickpocketed after you land in Italy is now part of the standard tourist experience. Standard Italy vacation: Land in Rome - get cheated by cabbie going to hotel - get overcharged for tiny hotel room - go to see the Vatican - get pickpocketed - complain to lazy Italian police who sleep the whole afternoon - eat pizza - return home.
